Basic requirements for serving on the Executive Board are:

  1. Be a currently serving AmeriCorps member at time of application
  2. Attend monthly board meetings
  3. Show dedication to enhancing the AmeriCorps experience for members in Seattle

Duties of the Communications Lead include:

  • Update Twitter and LinkedIn accounts with the latest SAC news
  • Market and promote events through member engagement
  • Facilitate discussion on SAC pages
  • Respond to inquiries on social media about the organization
  • Create fresh blog content and edit submitted blog posts
  • Update and manage our WordPress website
