The Seattle Convention Center (SCC) opened in 1988 in the heart of downtown Seattle’s central retail, entertainment and cultural district. In July 2010, Arch at 800 Pike opened across the street from the original building, functioning as a stand-alone, executive-quality meeting facility for regional and national conferences. Today, Arch at 705 Pike and Arch at 800 Pike comprise the largest meeting and event facility in Washington state and over 10,000 hotel guest rooms are within an 11-block radius of the facility.
