REMEMBRANCE: The Legacy of Executive Order 9066 in Washington State

Ongoing | Washington State History Museum

Museums South

This new long-term gallery explores the intergenerational impacts and legacy of the incarceration of people of Japanese descent during World War II as a result of Executive Order 9066.

In the gallery, visitors will experience history through photographs, art, letters, and more. A significant part of this exhibition has been sourced by working with individuals and families who were directly impacted by this history, including survivors and their descendants.
