GO: Paramount Theatre (911 Pine St)
WATCH: The Book of Mormon (January 9 – 14)
EAT: Rumba (1112 Pike St)
Known for its over-the-top opulence since opening nearly a century ago, the Paramount hosts a full season of Broadway touring musicals. Lean into the luxe vibe by rounding out the evening with the decadent coconut bananas Foster and a passionfruit-liqueur daiquiri at Rumba.

WATCH: The Beaches (February 15-16)
EAT: Unicorn 1118 E Pike St
This dynamic and diverse Capitol Hill mainstay presents everything from indie rock to hip-hop to reggae artists like HIRIE. Continue the festive mood at carnival-themed Unicorn, where you can snack on hand-dipped corn dogs and a Cereal Killer cocktail made with Fruit Loops vodka.

WATCH: Something’s Afoot (March 1-24)
EAT: Purple Café & Wine Bar (1225 Fourth Ave)
Nothing quite pairs with the drama of The 5th, a landmark 1926 venue with an ornate Chinese temple–inspired interior, better than the dramatic architecture of nearby Purple Café & Wine Bar, with its monumental 30-foot tower of wine. Enjoy a glass of Washington syrah or indulge in some gooey sea-salt caramels.

WATCH: Unrivaled (May 10-June 2)
EAT: Bongos Cafe (6501 Aurora Ave N)
This acclaimed neighborhood theater fulfills its mission of “sparking conversation and igniting empathy” in an intimate converted bathhouse on the west shore of Green Lake. Fuel up beforehand at beachy Bongos with a Jamaican fried-chicken po’boy and a cold-brew coffee.

WATCH: The Princess Bride in Concert with Seattle Symphony (February 14-17)
EAT: Shuckers (411 University St)
Downtown’s impressive and acoustically blessed Benaroya Hall is home turf of the renowned Seattle Symphony and also presents a wide range of exceptional, mostly classical, musicians. Start your evening a few blocks away with fresh seafood in the oak-paneled confines of Shuckers, which occupies an elegant former haberdashery.
